Overview

ALL ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES, and the Gods of Egypt are not above paying the price for their mistakes.
Amun-Ra created a detrimental situation when he fashioned three alluring amulets. Izzi-Ra (Iz-Eye-Rah), the Princess of Egypt, finds herself linked to the forbidden amulets, along with a scrawny, lower-class boy named Neenho (Nino), who is from the traitorous village outside of the kingdom. The two quickly find themselves in a power struggle with the Gods of Egypt. Together, they join forces with some peculiar characters. All are tethered in a powerful disarray of lies, secrets, and chaos as they embark on the journey of a lifetime through Egypt, where power, magic, and the Gods originated, to find the amulets and discover who the Princess of Amun-Ra was.

About the Author

Born in Chicago but raised in Las Vegas, Veranice's imagination is as big and colorful as the cities she lived in. Veranice (Var-Rah-Niece) spent most of her time writing and sharing short stories in her Creative Writing and English classes. During a Mythology class, she discovered her love for folklore and myths. A fascination and love for the Ancient Egyptians grew from that moment on, and the more she learned about the gods and goddesses, the more this tale began to unfold within her mind. Now Veranice resides in North County San Diego with her two daughters, her mother, three sisters, and five nieces. Amulets of Princess Amun-Ra is her debut novel and the first in a six-part tale through her version of life in Ancient Egypt. --This text refers to the hardcover edition.
