Overview

An Autopsy of Betrayal is inspired by the common cry of countless resilient women. Crumbling under the weight of the helplessness, guilt, and self-blame the comes from being in love with narcissists, their relationships always begin with fairy-tale romances but end with shattered hearts.

An Autopsy of Betrayal is about a boy, Sam, who grows up with his narcissistic mother. His mother, Rhonda, is obsessed with intelligence, wanting to be known as being and having the best. Rather than receiving unconditional love and support from his mother, Sam is treated like a puppet. His childhood betrayed, his only role is to support his mother's facade. Subjected to constant negativity and criticism, Sam eventually comes to believe that he is to blame for her moods and attacks.

Eventually, Sam finds freedom when he moves out of his mother's home. He becomes a successful movie producer, but he cannot reverse the impact she had on him emotionally. He sees his mother in every woman her meets. Full of anger and vengeance, he even finds himself questioning his sexuality. In his numerous relationships, Sam acts out the trauma of his childhood and his emotional scars cause him to put every woman he meets through the same ordeal that he went through as a child. He has no thought of the damage he causes. Without realizing it, he becomes the person he hates most—his mother.
