Dale Heinzman's book 'An Agriculturist's Well Lived Life: Influenced by The Transcendental Power of
Flowers' is a perfect treat for someone who is craving to read an autobiographical novel and a heartfelt
love story. It is a novel that delves into the personal memories of Dale. Dale spent countless hours
researching his ancestral roots, family records, old bibles, photographs, and letters. This book is an
accurate reflection of Dale's life experiences. He shares his memories with readers in first-person
paragraphs, using italics to add depth and emotion to the narrative. This technique allows readers to feel
as though they are experiencing Dale's life events firsthand, making it a truly engaging and memorable
read.
Dale Heinzman, after his 74th birthday, asked himself what could he do to gain a better understanding of
his life's purpose. Writing his life story was his answer to this existential question. Dale's memoir spans
seven generations of his family history, showing how his ancestors' hard work and courage influenced his
life. He gained a deeper understanding of his purpose and how his experiences and values aligned with his
ancestral heritage by writing his life story. As he reflected on his life, he discovered that his devotion to
family, diverse career in agriculture, and appreciation for the transformative power of flowers were all
part of his life's purpose.
Dale's wife played an important role in shaping the narratives of the book 'An Agriculturist's Well Lived
Life: Influenced by The Transcendental Power of Flowers.' With her support, Dale worked tirelessly for
almost four years, immersing himself in his family's history and weaving his own experiences into the
story's fabric.
Dale's book, 'An Agriculturist's Well Lived Life: Influenced by The Transcendental Power of Flowers,' is
notable for its novelistic approach. Chapter one of the book, which begins in 2024, establishes an impetus
for the development of the entire book. He sets the stage by sharing his fictitious terminal cancer
diagnosis, which adds a sense of urgency to his storytelling. Dale's book features countless novelistic
aspects that set it apart from other autobiographical novels.

About the Author

I am 77. My wife is 75. We have been married for 45 years. We have two sons: Andrew, 43, and Eric, 41, and a grandson, Jack. He is six.
I am my parent’s only surviving child. My two sisters were my oldest siblings, followed by my brother. I was born nine years after him.
I have been an Agriculturist my entire life. I graduated from the Cornell University College of Agriculture in 1966. I placed sixth in my class. I enjoyed a diverse career as a Farmer, Farm Credit Loan Officer, International Seed Company Execu-tive, and Specialty Peony Cut Flower grower.
My wife and I sold our peony cut flowers all over the Unit-ed States. Our most important customers were in New York City; Boston, Massachusetts; Washington, DC; Atlanta, Georgia; Char-lotte, North Carolina; Dallas, Texas; and Rochester, New York.
Our peonies were also recognized internationally. We sold some in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and one of our customers brokered our peonies overseas.
We own a beautiful 225-acre farm a few miles west of Ge-neva, New York. Our farm has some of the best farmland in the state, an historic Greek revival house built in 1847, and an his-toric gambrel barn built in 1889. I have lived in our house my entire life. From our house, we enjoy a spectacular view at least 20 miles to the east. My attachment to our farm is an over-whelmingly important part of my alchemy.
My mother was born and raised in Waterloo, New York. My father was brought up on the Peters Farm, a few miles west of Waterloo. His parents leased the farm and the house. That farm is seven miles east of our farm, as the crow flies.
My father and mother struggled during the Great De-pression and World War II. Their goal was to own a farm and build a successful farm business. They took the first step toward achieving their goal when they bought our farm in 1943.
