About the Author

Joyanne Ham and her husband Clay hail from Texas. In 2000, they bought and remodeled an 1800s farmhouse in the heart of Ohio-s Amis hCountry turning it into a Bed & Breakfast. On top of operating Oak Haven, they provide taxi service for the Amish living around them.
Taking her Amish friends shopping, visiting, on business trips, to appointments and garage sales gives Joyanne wonderful glimpses into their hearts and lives. This close association quickly spans cultural gaps and builds a boundless mutual respect. Joyanne's captivating experiences with her Amish friends inspired her to write these stories.
