About the Author

Jan Faull, M.Ed. has taught parent education, child development, and behavior guidance for more than 25 years.  She is the Baby Brain and Clever Toddler Expert at Babyzone.com.  She has written for Ladies Home Journal, Healthy Kids, American Baby, and Better Homes & Gardens online service, as well as Disney’s online service for parents.  She also wrote a weekly parenting column for The Seattle Times for ten year.

Jennifer McLean Oliver, Ph.D., cognitive psychologi9s and child development specialist, was a found member of the Talaris Research Institute on early learning in Seattle. A mother, a mathematician, and an engineer, she brings her unique perspective to this topic.
