About the Author

My name is Courtney Michelle Carroll and I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas. I was born July 20, 1994, with an epilepsy disorder and a chromosome abnormality. I graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 2013 and from Arkansas Career Training Institute in 2014.

My favorite hobbies are doing puzzles, crafting, listening to music, traveling, going to the beach, shopping, watching YouTube videos, going to the movies and talking to friends and family. I have been told that I have a heart of gold and a wonderful spirit.

I didn’t know what my future was going to hold when I was in school. But now I have set goals to become a successful author, mentor, leader and businesswoman. I’m passionate about helping not only people who have a disability just like me, but anyone who has ever felt they weren’t good enough to be accepted in their community.
