About the Author

Time spent teaching his kids to read and draw brought Nick back into the world of art, creativity, and learning something new. Making this book has been hard, but fun. I hope it inspires others to start their own projects and paves the path for young and happy readers.

My nearly 5-year old loves this book. The animals are cute. She likes to draw "the baby" ones and then "the mama" ones. Starting with drawing a letter helps give her a good starting point to be able to draw the rest of the image. The method works surprisingly well. We also just flip through the book and practice the sounds each letter should make. I highly recommend this book for your little ones.

There are so many great things about this book. The animals are absolutely adorable and have the sweetest little faces. I love that for each letter there is a mom/dad with a baby--that alone is cute--but I like how they are used to show uppercase and lowercase letters. . It's a great introduction to the alphabet--especially for children who are not yet in school or learning at home. home (like my three-year-old). I like that it's interactive and the kids can find the letters in the animals.
