The Almanac 2017 provides practical information how to use the blended information of the planetary energies. Answering the questions of why is this important and how does it affect my life, the reader becomes aware of the governing planetary energies which influence our lives regardless of what astrological sign or house we were born.
This book is written for the reader who glances through the traditional astrology books and then returns them to the shelf. One look at the signs, symbols, dates and they feel like they are reading a foreign language. The Almanac 2017 was intended for the layperson that understands the importance of energetic vibrations and has a desire to take control of their life using these forces to benefit themselves.

Understand that each day of the week is governed by a planet of our solar system. The result of this energetic rule is that each day has a unique influence on everyone. If we understand this influence we can use the knowledge to create the life we want to live.
For example, Jupiter is the planet that rules Thursday. Being the planet of expansion, growth, and greed we can plan our business endeavors for success. Perhaps your business partner has lost sight of reason and is affected by the negative side of Jupiter, greed.
The Almanac 2017 recognizes the vibrations of the ruling Sun sign and guides the reader to understand how to best work with this sway in accordance with the day of the week.
Each day of the week also has a guardian Angel and we honor these spiritual guides. We all need to feel that we have an ace in the hole when life becomes challenging.
For those spiritually inclined we have included the powers of the four elements; water, earth, air, and fire. Our beautiful astral dragons represent these commanding forces.
And just for a touch of the ancient history, we have tied all of the powers above with the Lunar days of the month.
In addition, each chapter ends with an original inspired crystal grid for creating the life that the reader seeks. Instructions on how to use the grid are included in the summary.
The Almanac 2017 combines the many elements which are separated in other publications such as, Llewellyn’s 2017 Moon Sing Book, Llewellyn’s 2017 Sun Sign Book, and a very similar title Llewellyn’s 2017 Daily Planetary Guide.
