About the Author

Once upon a time, a twelve-year-old girl built a friendship with a dear family friend. This woman created beautiful pottery in the kiln behind her mountain home, knew how to find fairy rings beneath the pines, and agreed that all dragons should have names. When the girl turned thirteen, the woman gave her a blank notebook, a pen, and an order: "Go write your novel, girl."

Since then, Blair has worked as an actor, freelance writer, middle manager, wellness educator, and karate instructor (mundane jobs not included), but never forgot she is also a writer.

Blair currently lives in rural Indiana with her one son and two goofy dogs, all of whom can often be found at 4H Dog Shows. She holds a second degree black belt in Shorei Kai and a B.S. in Health and Wellness. She loves traveling to places both wild and domesticated.
