Phyllis Adams is an Alaska native born in Fairbanks and raised in Nenana. She has a Education degree from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and is a retired Anchorage School District teacher. Her first book entitled Alaska Gingerbread Moose is an exciting Alaska children's adventure story. Phyllis enjoys reading, traveling and spending time in the beautiful Alaska outdoors with her grandchildren.

Kathleen Lynch received her BA and Masters Degrees in anthropology from the University of Toronto and did graduate studies at Bryn Mawr College before coming to Alaska in 1971. She took art classes at the University of Alaska, Anchorage where she worked on a Native education project traveling to rural villages. Today, she lives in Victoria BC, Canada and continues painting - working in both watercolor and oil.
