Carol Freire combines the fast-paced style of American narrative with Brazilian’s literature creativity. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Carol Freire worked as an advertising and marketing professional before immigrating to the United States in 2001. She received her Master Degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University in 2005, and worked for global companies and humanitarian organizations, such as the American Red Cross, before dedicating herself to a literary career.
Carol Freire lives with her husband, her daughter and son in Mountain View, California.
