About the Author

Lynn Bezilla has 37 years of airport planning experience, including 20 years as Director of Planning and Environmental Services at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). He was responsible for all facility planning, forecasting, environmental analysis, and capital project development at BWI, as well as at Martin State Airport, a reliever for BWI. Lynn was also responsible for preparing airport system plans for the State of Maryland.
Previously Lynn worked for several consulting firms and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments in Washington, D.C. He began his career as an airport system planner with the New York State Department of Transportation.
A native of Pennsylvania, Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Geography from Penn State University.
He resides in Columbia, Maryland, with his wife, Rena.
