Dr. Michael O. Oyedokun II is an internationally recognized preacher. He understands the power of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to impact the lives of people. He has been speaking and preaching for over 36 years. He began his speaking as a youth in the local Church and on the state level.
He has preached across the United States and continues to speak to Churches, youth, national and district groups, and organizations. Dr. Oyedokun II has a passion for speaking, and he has studied the art of persuasive preaching to initiate a change in the lives of the hearers. Reverend Dr. Oyedokun II specializes in servant leadership, persuasive preaching, youth development, faith through struggle, making disciples, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
His personal interests include a love for technology, playing golf, and sports. He played football for Stephen F. Austin in college. Dr. Oyedokun II also founded Doke Enterprises, LLC, and Doke Ministries, Inc., a non-profit that focuses on youth empowerment. He earned his Master of Divinity in Theology from G.W. Truett Seminary at Baylor University after obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University. He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Advanced Expository Preaching from Dallas Theological Seminary and, together with his wife (Shantell) and three children (Emari, Shirah, and Genesis), reside in the Dallas area. He is on staff at Dallas Theological Seminary as the Associate Director of Ministry Formation.
Dr. Oyedokun II served in pastoral ministry for thirteen years at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Round Rock. He transitioned to Forney, TX, in the summer of 2021, and the Lord led him to plant the Love Community Baptist Church in Forney, TX, with the first service on April 10, 2022. He is a published author with his first book, “Preaching in High Definition (HD)” released in 2023. He has written other articles in journals and consults with others on various subjects.
Dr. Oyedokun II has been involved in denominational work (locally, state, and national). He has worked hard in the communities of Waco, Austin, Round Rock, and now Forney, TX. He gives his time to youth as well by mentoring, counseling, and being a character coach
