Overview

Against a behemoth: A tale of employees losing jobs

Employees at the Steps – the propagandist front for Behemoth, an organisation with almost 1 million members – had just received letters of termination of their contracts which would take effect from the start of the new year. Together with the termination letters they also received a less-than-satisfactory new contract with a reduction in their salaries, some as little as 20 percent while others as much as 70 percent. Given the options some decided to take up the new offers while others decided to explore other possible options. Follow their story as they navigate the treacherous current of modern working life, where friends could turn into enemies and alliances could shift according to the financial performance of an entity.
