Sandra K-Horn has worked in politics, education, and broadcast media. Her first novel, The Rabbit Trap , was awarded an honorable mention by Edward Hoffer Award in 2007. More magazine published her article "Ziplining in Costa Rica" in 2008. In 2019, K-Horn updated The Rabbit Trap and renamed it Downward Spiral. She lives in Columbus, Ohio.
