About the Author

USA Today bestseller Christine Pope is the author of the paranormal romance Witches of Cleopatra Hill series and the Djinn Wars series, among many others (sixty and counting!). She makes her home in Arizona and loves to travel the Southwest, researching locales — and local wineries! — for her books.

Kat Parrish is a former reporter who prefers making things up. Born into a military family, she has lived in seven states and two European countries and would sign up to colonize Mars if she weren’t so fond of summer. She is the author of the Shadow Palace Trilogy, the Bruja Roja series, and the upcoming Brotherhood of Stone and Artifacts of Chaos series. She lives in the Pacific Northwest near a haunted cemetery.

C. Gockel has been writing stories for her friends and family since the dark ages (i.e., before word processors existed.) A few years ago, she started posting those stories to the intertubes. Her fans told her she should ‘do this professionally.’ She didn’t; because she is a coward. In the end, her husband’s nagging wore her down: “You could be the next 50 Shades of Gray and I could retire!” Unfortunately, the author writes science fiction and fantasy, and isn’t particularly good at writing erotica. She is sad about this; she’d love for her husband to be able to retire and just work for her so she could nag him.

Nicole R. Taylor is an Australian urban fantasy author. She lives in the western suburbs of Melbourne dreaming up nail biting stories featuring badass witches, duplicitous vampires, hunky shapeshifters and devious monsters.

Kasey Mackenzie lives with her husband and son in St. Louis, Missouri; home of the Gateway Arch, the baseball Cardinals, and the world’s greatest thin-crust pizza. Kasey always had her nose in a book — so no big surprise when she was voted “Teacher’s Pet” in high school. She feels lucky that people pay her for two of her favorite activities: writing and shaking her groove thing as a Zumba instructor. If she could just figure out how to get paid for cleaning her own house, maybe that would happen more often….
