About the Author

Kevin Moura is a high school student who has a passion for writing books and the great outdoors.

He goes to Alaska in the summers to visit his Uncle Doug who’s a hard-core Alaskan outdoors man. His uncle takes him on fishing trips in Prince William Sound, long backpacking trips in the deep mountains, and kayaking on the rivers. Kevin's going in January of 2023 so wish him luck, the winters are pretty harsh there. Kevin has many hobbies and interests. He’s one of the top golfers on his high school golf team.

He recently wrote and published a book called “Adventures In The Last Frontier: A Teen's Perspective of Perseverance & Determination” to document his journey climbing a tall and treacherous peak, one of the tallest in the Chugach Mountains in Alaska.
