Adventures in a Parallel world
When the ruler of the richest country on earth is found to have an incurable brain tumor, his son and heir to the throne turns to a group of scientists who had just finished building a time machine. He directs them to send drones to all the parallel worlds they had discovered, in search of a world where medicine has advanced far beyond their own.
The scientists scour many such worlds and find one that fits the prince's requirements--an earth where medicine had advanced far beyond their own. Luckily, they also find a husband-wife team of world renowned brain surgeons as well, and the prince orders them abducted and brought to him.
The prince showers the surgeons with expensive gifts and great riches, which they accept in return for operating on the prince's father, especially once they discover that the time machine had been destroyed so there is no way for them to return home.
They undergo numerous adventures, some of them quite dangerous, as they establish themselves in this new world with its strange moral and societal customs, and thrive on on becoming members of this wonderful new environment.
