The duty of showing the flag fell on Pandora, The Princess of Cats. Pandora is a demigod who is third in line for The Kingdom of October's throne, and totally rhymes with "rich."
Pandora has taken a small battle fleet to reassure the intelligent natives on a planet October is protecting and is ambushed by a full, overpowering fleet of Muay-Nay. She is ready for their treachery, and gets most of her men and their weapons ground-side. Knom is where the fight with the ancient life destroyers will start. As impossible as her task is, she must hold the Muay-Nay at bay until the humans are on a war footing. It is a seemingly impossible task. The Muay-Nay war machine is ready, and Pandora has little to work with. So the war to exterminate the humans begins.
