Overview

Wordpress is a great CMS and even better framework for creating any type of web site, regardless if the intention is to have blogging. WordPress in its popularity has a lot of overhead during a normal page load; this is especially notice when non-user interaction is desired, such as implementing web services. The WP-Soap-Services plugin describe in this text provides an easy mechanism to implement custom soap web services into your WordPress installation, and expose only those blog behaviors that are desirable.
