People were quarantined at homes for the greater part of 2020 and 2021 to stop the spread of the virus. The Pandemic caused the schools to shut down for in-face instructions. Teachers scrambled to adjust to the demand for virtual instructions for students with short notice. Online or remote instructions in combination with in-face teachings became the norm for some school districts. These events that devastated our schools gave the author the impetus to write this edition of the book with the expectation that when students return to full-time in-school instructions, they will bring with them strange and different behaviors that need different strategies to control and manage those behaviors. Finally, this book will be an authentic and invaluable resource for teachers to use in helping students with behavior problems.
