Overview

Things Never Improve, They Only Get Worse is the autobiographical story of Paul Hooper's contract work in support of US military training in the US and then as the Site Manager on the Blackwater Aviation contract supporting US military activities in Afghanistan operating out of Bagram AB. His worse day in this capacity was 27 November 2004 when one of his aircraft crashed in the mountains of Afghanistan killing the three man crew and three US Army personnel. He flew the L-100 aircraft from Amman, Jordan and Kabul, Afghanistan in support of operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Middle East. Later he flew the King Air 200 aircraft on the follow on program to the SRS program in Colombia.
