David W. Berner is a journalist, author, and broadcaster. He teaches writing, radio documentary, and radio narrative classes at Columbia College Chicago. Berner has published personal essays and hundreds of magazine articles. He lives outside Chicago and is currently working on a collection of essays about fatherhood.
