Abbott and Costello were a comedy double act composed of William "Bud" Abbott and Lou Costello, whose work on radio and in film and television made them the most popular comedy team of the 1940s and early 1950s This edition is a republishing of Abbott and Costello Comics Vol. 1, No. 2, April 1948 first published by St. John Publications. Complete comic book as it was published originally in April 1948 by St. John Publications. The original artwork was restored in parts that needed restoration for publication and the original advertising was kept in the comic book as it was published.

The Abbott and Costello Cartoon Show is an American half-hour animated series of the famous comedy duo that aired in syndication from September 9, 1967 to June 1, 1968. A comic book based on the TV show was produced by Charlton Comics. Starting in February 1968, it ran for 22 issues, ending in August 1971.
