How many times have you heard your children say I don't want to do my homework, I don't want to go to school, I don't want to clean up my room, and I don't want to go to bed. The lists of I don't want to goes on and on. As parents we try to reason with our children and explain why it is in their best interest to do these things, but they often don't understand. In my book Aaron's Rules we explore an alternate world where Aaron gets to live out his dreams of living under his rules, not his parents' rules, only to discover that living under his rules is not what he expected it would be. This book I dedicate to my son Aaron, who I love very much. My Aaron is constantly challenging me about not wanting to follow my rules which inspired me to write this book. This book is full of imagination and interesting characters that help guide Aaron through his alternate reality. Imagination and creativity are what this book is all about while also teaching valuable life long lessons. My hope is that once children read Aaron's rules they will understand that their parents give them rules to live by because they love them and want what's best for them. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
