Overview

The colors Red & Black in most ancient cultures were symbols of goodness, love, passion, and power. In more modern times have these colors taken on darker connotations with deception, magic and burning desires. "A World in Red & Black" honors both the old and new imagery these colors, paying homage to their many shades and hues.

Originally composed over the course of 10 years; it explores the adventures and downfalls of life and love, of passions and pleasures, of heartbreak and tears, of deceit and truth. Included are personal insights into the human heart, as well as bits of silliness and observations. "A World in Red & Black" takes you on a journey you will not soon forget.

About the Author

S.R. LeClaire began writing stories for her friends at a very young age and got into poetry later in her teen years when romance began to bud around her. One day while clearing cluttered boxes of papers by going digital she discovered her collection of poetry had grown to close to 300 poems spanning 10 years of life and relationships. She decided to compile her favorites into a book to share with her friends. At first she self published a few copies only for herself and some close friends. But with some encouragement she has decided to ePublish her book for the public to enjoy.

S.R. LeClaire was born and raised in Southern California she currently resides in her childhood neighborhood with her husband and daughter.
