Overview

William Bridges sermon speaks of specific sins to which the aged are most disposed: bitterness, impenitence, and a complaining spirit. Looking to the Lord Jesus Christ as the therapy for the sins and maladies of old age, both mental and physical, Bridge tells the Christian how to enhance our remaining years so that we may better glorify God and please Him. In addition, there is a short biography of William Bridge and commentary on the political events going on in England during Bridges lifetime.
