TEXTing is a way of life today. People of all ages are Texting. The purpose of BIBLICAL TEXTING is to WIN THE LOST and to SPREAD the WORD OF GOD by adding a meaningful, life changing, option to daily Texting.
BIBLICAL TEXTING (Process and Message):
THE PROCESS: Texting is the most widely used means of communication and the most widely used mobile data service. THE MESSAGE: God's Message is the most important Message to send: the eternal Message of Jesus Christ. Combining the two provides endless potential to SPREAD THE WORD OF GOD AND REACH THE UNSAVED. BIBLICAL TEXTING is a God-Idea whose time has come.
Even though the word TEXT is not found in the Bible, TEXT, according to Webster means "a verse or passage of Scripture chosen esp. for the subject of a sermon or for authoritative support (as for a doctrine)...a source of information or authority."
SCRIPTURAL AUTHORITY:
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 17: 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
The Bible is an inexhaustible source of the truth.
