A Will is Not Enough
Many people who have a Will think that they have their affairs in order. They believe that their Will can take care of any problem that may arise. But the primary function of a Will is to distribute property to people named in a Will. A Will cannot:
* Protect your assets and limit your debt
* Provide care for a minor or disabled child
* Appoint someone to make your health care decisions should you be unable to do so
* Appoint someone to handle your finances should you be unable to do so
* Avoid Guardianship.
* Arrange to pay for your health care should you need long term nursing care,
including HOW TO QUALIFY FOR MEDICAID.

AMELIA E. POHL, Esq. has written a book that explains all of these things. Although the topics are sophisticated, the writing style is the same as in this book. It is written in plain English. It is intended for use by the average person.
