Overview

In the enchanting seaside town of Spartica, California, nestled deep within Humboldt County's mystical lands, magic weaves unnoticed through the everyday. Wellington's life began unusually-as a kitten transformed into a human child through an enchantment. Growing up among forest spirits, wise witches, talking trees, and elusive Sasquatches presented challenges of its own. But after a life-altering incident, Wellington seeks solace in the humdrum of the human world.

His new life of normalcy is shattered when a mysterious message arrives: his mother is missing. Driven by unresolved ties and a haunting past, Wellington returns to the magical chaos he once fled. As he ventures back, he must confront not just his old fears but the very essence of disorder-the capricious God of Chaos.

"A Wild and Untamed Thing" is a tale of magic, mystery, and the unbreakable bonds that define us. Join Wellington as he unravels the threads of his magical heritage in a quest that blurs the boundaries between the mundane and the mystical, challenging the chaos that threatens everything he holds dear.

About the Author

Jerry J. Davis is a Scorpio with his moon in Scorpio, which means he's a Double Scorpio. To make matters worse, when he was a toddler in Douglas, Arizona, way back in the 60's, he was stung by a scorpion. It was a radioactive scorpion, too, which is why he now has super powers. Okay, he made that part up. But he is a Double Scorpio who's been stung by a scorpion. By all rights that should make him a superhero named "The Scorpion" but unfortunately, no. He just writes quirky science fiction and fantasy stories often involving gods and goddesses, the true nature of reality, and more often than not, beer.
