A Weaving of the Roots: Book Two of Roots
Roslyn is still healing from her losses of the past couple of months, and is finally accepting what her ancestors and the gods have in store for her: being Queen of Jay'Al. There is much to be done though, from dealing with werewolves and the Tribes of the Archipelago, to bringing the orcs into the Clans. Things get more complicated though when Roslyn learns of trouble back home, and more earthquakes bring forth even more mysteries to be solved.

About the Author

Katie M. Thornton grew up on a farm in a small town in Mid-western Ontario, Canada; the youngest of three girls. She loved to read from a young age and heavily enjoyed fantasy from authors such as Tamora Pierce, Christopher Paolini, Terry Goodkind, Kristen Britain, and Pamela Freeman. She dreamed of being a writer when she was older, and she always held onto that dream. In 2017 she got her Creative Writing Certificate from Conestoga College, just in time for her youngest child to be born.

Katie is married to her Jason, with three kids (Daniel, Tessa, and Zane), four cats (Andromeda, Minerva, Perseus, Cassandra), and one dog (Phoebe).
