A Very Good God In A Suffering Sad World

Near the beginning of the human race, sin and death entered into the world. Since then, people have suffered, people have to work hard, and people all die. It's a shame. BUT, the God who created all this came into the world to rescue us! Yay! Hallelujah! Jesus is very good.

We celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead! Yes, we celebrate, and rejoice; and we do our best to praise our Savior, for we have a very good idea of "what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which God wrought in Christ, when He raised Jesus from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places" (see Ephesians 1:19-20). Together, today we celebrate and we rejoice that Jesus has been raised from the dead! We have faith — at least a mustard-seed size of faith — that...

  • Christ Jesus' power is exceedingly great!

  • He uses His exceeding great power to help us who believe in Him,

  • Our Savior and Great Hope is at God's side in Heaven, and,

  • Jesus is helping us to live in the kingdom of God among us!

Here's the real trouble: this earthly life happens in a suffering sad world.
