About the Author

A passionate writer since she was a teenager, Shelley Walchuk is a curling widow who began to use writing as way to heal some of the negative aspects of her time in the sporting life. A Turn for the Worst is the result of that process.

She is an administrator who raised her wonderful children largely as a single parent. Now that she has seriously started writing, she plans to continue to refine her craft and use her new skills as a way to give something back to the world from which she has received so much.
