About the Author

Dr. Stacy Shortle is a Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Vermont and a Certified National School Psychologist. She completed her graduate work at Northeastern University in Boston, MA and Argosy University in Sarasota, FL. She has been a practicing school psychologist in Vermont for over ten years, working in both the public school setting and with Maple Leaf Clinic in Wallingford, VT. Dr. Shortle lives in Vermont with her husband and two children.
Dr. Dean Mooney is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Doctorate and a Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Vermont. He has received National Certification in the United States as a School Psychologist.

Previously he has served on the Professional Advisory Board of ASPEN (Asperger Syndrome Education Network), and on the Board of Directors for Pine Ridge School in Vermont.
He lives in beautiful Vermont with his wife, daughter, son, and two golden retrievers – Lucky (because we were SO lucky to get a puppy) and Belle (yes, there is a Beauty and the Beast fan in the house).
