This is the first book about a magician (I'm not mentioning HP and his cohorts) that I've read and the first magician who has real magical powers, not just sleight of hand powers. I like that the bulk of the action takes place in the 1960s. It becomes a modern story without the cell phone/Blackberry/computer intrusions of today.

All of Diane's books have so much detail that you feel part of the story. Moonlight and Illusions is so action packed with Stephen traveling through time. The book has romance, lost love, found love and lots of magic. Once you start this book, it is difficult to put it down. Very entertaining!

I found this book to be very enjoyable. I enjoyed reading about the Mayans and magic. I enjoyed the relationship between Stephen and Anabel. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance and mystery. The author did not leave you wanting.
