Struggling with statistics? We have developed a resource to help. This tool is designed to ease anxiety levels and to help you learn statistics. To accomplish this, many templates were developed including sample papers, instructional datasets, and basic statistical analyses and this resource, A Template Approach: Simplifying Statistics for Research, is a compilation of all of these. We find that people prefer a template approach because the material is provided in the same manner for all the statistical analyses and concept maps help you understand where the concepts fit. This enables you to begin to see patterns about how statistics fit within the overall research writing process.

About the Author

Dr. Rebecca Robles-Piña is a full professor at Sam Houston State University in the Department of Counselor Education. Dr. Sherry Rosenblad is Director of Clinical Counseling & Marriage and Family Therapy and Associate Professor of Psychology and Counseling at Hardin-Simmons University. Both have taught Research and Statistics courses for several years.
