Overview

Albino vultures picking at road kill – that’s what forensic psychologist Tori Vincent calls jump-suited technicians examining the body of Brad Coleman. Tori conducts a psychological autopsy on the poisoned university professor, despite objections from Detective Herb Morrison who calls her work “psychobabble.” Tori claims Morrison had a charisma bypass. Morrison arrests Tori’s former lover Steve DeMaio for the murder. Tori continues to investigate the crime while balancing her responsibilities to her twelve-year-old son and her dysfunctional sister with her career and her love life.

About the Author

Linda A. Foley is a psychologist who spent many years teaching psychology and the law at the University of North Florida. She interviewed inmates, conducted psychological autopsies for the police, consulted with attorneys on jury selection, and testified as an expert witness. She has written a psychology and law textbook, two books on offenders, and over 30 articles about legal, psychological, and criminal issues. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida with Roger Sharp, the wind beneath her wings. She now writes cozy mysteries.
