About the Author

Thomas Bernauer is Professor of Political Science at ETH Zurich. His research focuses on issues of international environmental policy and political economy. He is a member of the Climate Impacts Working Group of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Katja Gentinetta is a political philosopher and analyst. She teaches at the universities of Lucerne and Zurich, hosts the talks of the Swiss Institute of International Studies and is, among other things, member of the executive board of the ICRC. She has published several books on Switzerland, including European politics. Joëlle Kuntz is one of the leading journalists in French-speaking Switzerland. After a career with various European newspapers, she now writes for Le Temps. She is the author of several books on Switzerland, including Die Schweiz – oder die Kunst der Abhängigkeit (NZZ Libro).
