This introductory book examines Lokayukta in Maharashtra at its micro level as well as ombudsman system in India at centre as well as in Indian States at macro level. This research report based book touches many disciplines such as Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Law and somewhere Economics and Psychology also. The book earnestly and neatly studies the institution of ombudsman and reviewed worldwide ombudsman system. It concentrated the institutional remedies and their failure in remaining corruption. Preeti Dilip Pohekar (Mahajan), Paithan, Aurangabad (M.A. (SET), M.Phil. Ph.D., BJ, MMCJ) completed education in Aurangabad. She has worked as a journalist, sub-editor in Marathi Newspaper, worked as a Casual Announcer and Casual News Translator and Reader, AIR, Aurangabad. Her 50 articles on various issues are published in the newspapers and magazines are published. Her research paper secured 1st prize in International Sanskrit Conference.
