About the Author

I'm known to many of my fans as Bel. I started writing as a child. Many of the interest that inspired my stories as a child interest me as an adult. These stories often have animals, birds or nature in them.

Often I receive letters and emails with questions about my books. One question often asked is about the snowpeople from "A Sparkles Christmas Eve". Why did they have cold chocolate instead of hot chocolate? My answer,the hot chocolate would melt the snowpeople.

B.A. Landtroop lives with her husband, William at Dove Cottage. Where a creek bed sprouting daffodils in the spring is surrounded by gardens and rabbits hide in the children's Lilly garden. The herb, vegetable and wildflower gardens are filled with Mourning Doves, butterflies, squirrels, and sometimes a fox. Dove Cottage, William and their three children are her inspiration.

B.A. Landtroop is an author, fine artist and graphic artist with awards for her art in watercolor, acrylic, pen & ink and mixed media. Bel writes children's books and stories under B.A. Landtroop. Her poetry, novels and short stories are under Belinda Landtroop.
