Christina Brown was born in sunny Tampa, Florida to Annie and Willie J. Wilson, Sr. She graduated from East Bay Senior High School with a major in business and furthered her education at Erwin Technical Center, where she specialized in cosmetology and court reporting. Christina also holds a bachelor’s degree in human services with a concentration in criminal justice.
In late 2015 and early 2016, Christina took a leap of faith and published her first literary work, “Poetic Expressions from Heaven,” available on Amazon and at local bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million. Although her initial success as a self-published author was modest, she generously donated copies to interested readers, extending her book’s reach from Tampa Bay to St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Orlando, Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, and even Texas.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Christina made another bold move by founding her first business, Prestigious Reporting, LLC, to advance her career as a court reporter. This venture taught her the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
She attended numerous professional conferences and participated in global Zoom meetings, all while continuing to journal her thoughts and build her writing portfolio.
Shortly after launching her business, Christina was involved in a major car accident that sidelined her for over three years, resulting in multiple hospitalizations. Through her faith in God and the prayers of others, she overcame this challenging period. Once medically cleared, she resumed her writing and decided to close her business office to work remotely until relocating to Texas.
In her new location, she expanded her network, developed her character, and took on a temporary role as a security officer.
Christina is a knowledgeable, well-qualified, and a devoted woman of God, as well as a mother and grandmother. She diligently cares for herself and embodies a fun, loving, and career-oriented spirit.
In her personal time, she enjoys reading, worshipping, doing hair, spending time with family and friends, shopping, meeting new people, and, of course, writing books that inspire and support others to achieve their goals.
She aspires to connect with young adults, emerging authors, and small business owners to promote her literary work, potentially on a Christian platform or as a stage play.
Christina remains a genuinely imperfect person who loves to see others making positive strides in their lives.
