Lexie Heydon, former CIA asset, has braved the Iraqi Desert pursued by Saddam Hussein's Mulhabarat. She and her twin brother, Bryan have escaped Cold War Russia, fleeing with two defectors across the icy steppes of the Ukraine. On a beautiful Paris Spring morning, she receives a frantic phone call from Daniel whose African clinic has been overrun by the war lord Boy Akissi.
