About the Author

Tameka Ridley is an acclaimed poet, writer, and keynote speaker from Bronx, New York.
The 2020 Scholastic Achievement Award recipient has obtained her Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Hostos Community College, and she is pursuing her B.A. in Business and Accounting at Lehman College. Tameka is passionate about education and motivates young adults across the globe with her words. Since a young age, Tameka has been a writer, and now adds being an author to her list of contributions. Through her literary works, she moves readers with emotional reflections of her past. Aside from being an inspirational author, Tameka dedicates her life to serving students in her community.

As a keynote speaker at Hostos Community College, Tameka helps students understand the importance of education alongside aiding them through the scholarship process. When she is not busy assisting young adults in bettering their futures, Tameka enjoys practicing yoga, writing poetry, and reading during her free time.
