Overview

Well, ten years after my anxiety attacks started, i now have major depression and have attempted suicide multiple times. No we do not just snap out of trauma or pain. We need to address it and heal it. Having developed anxiety and now Major Depression i realized that no matter what race or gender you are, we all feel pain and we all need healing. I wrote this book in a conversational tone. I want you to imagine sitting at home having a talk with me. I address pain from my pain and your heart from my heart. I intend to spread the idea and practice of a healthy self care to everyone that i meet. Through this book, I can meet as many of you as possible. With this book I hope to change your mind about self care. I hope that this book inspires you to make yourself a priority and that it allows you to use your authentic voice. The Love Notes are written from the heart, discussing specific topics that all sum up to a healthy self love. If i came from parents who do not believe in mental illness and now have survived suicidal thoughts and behaviors, you too can learn to love yourself better. In the past, you did not know better, now that you do , you must do better. I love you for reading.

About the Author

Estelle G. Wright, originates from Cameroon, West Africa. In 2010, she moved to the USA. Here, her anxiety got a name, her depression as well. Only girl among 8 kids, she felt isolated with her pain since her brothers did not suffer from these illnesses. From the ashes of mental illnesses, she chose to rise to become a healer. Healing others from the same place as her, and many Black Americans. Estelle believes that we (especially Blacks) need a lot of therapy and help, but we get triggered by the word Therapy. In an attempt to reach and connect with as many as she can, this book was written. It was written from the slumps of depression, to sort of guide us all to recovery. Her love for her people, continues to drive her art and projects.
