So peaceful and fascinating, the mass of water was barely disrupted by the hot wind that blew from the north. The desert needlegrass extended as far as the eye could see and swung gently in the breeze. Magnificent cliffs encompassed the area with mesmerizing shades of greys at the bottom and frosty whites at the top. Perhaps even more magical was the presence of an unusual rock that stood near the shore—a pyramid.
Their hands touched. For a moment, the heat that transferred between their bodies was very real.
