A Pink Heart for Girls is a compilation of short and realistic stories, that will feature some amazing girls I created. They come from all walks of life and family structures. However, they all encounter real life problems many girls my age (and even older) can relate to. Join me, as I take you on a journey encouraging all girls to be PINK: Powerful, Intelligent and Naturally Kind.

About the Author:
Melody Grace Evans is a Child Author, Entrepreneur and Motivator for adolescents and teenage kids worldwide. Her personality shone through when she began modeling, acting and doing voice overs since the age of 2. Her naturally bubbly personality gave her opportunities with Nickelodeon, Custom Ink T-shirts and various projects. These experiences shaped Melody's ability to speak her mind respectfully, and to view the differences of others as something beautiful.
Melody has always been a writer, deep thinker, and an 'advocate' for young girls with self-esteem issues. It all began when she successfully ran and won her Class President roles in 2nd and 3rd Grade. It was at this time she made it her personal duty to encourage her peers to make sure that generosity, friendship and respect are practiced and shown among students and the adults in their lives. Melody's mom, Angie, realized that her short stories also came with sketch drawings of each main character. With that recognition, Melody agreed to compile these stories in a book for girls everywhere to read and be inspired.
Her Personal Journey: Melody lost her biological father, Mark Evans in November 2009 when she was just 2 years old. She has remarkable recollections of him, his voice and certain things that make her laugh until this very day. One of her stories also includes inspirational ways for children to remember and honor their parents and loved ones who passed away.
Melody is the eldest of 3 girls. Her younger siblings Hannah and Naomi are her biggest fans. She's also the big sister to her butterfly brother, Adonis, who is cheering her on from Heaven's window. Melody's Dream is to see "A Pink Heart"TM as an international movement, giving young girls from all walks of life a chance to shine and boldly share "The Power of a Pink Heart."
