About the Author

KAREN BECKER is a family coach and divorced family coordinator. She has worked with hundreds of families one-on-one and in group settings, as they’ve transitioned from parenting together to co-parenting in separate homes. Her own experiences as a co-parent as well as her education in counseling have helped her build curriculum, communicate techniques, and produce worksheets that help take the negative emotion out of the co-parents’ relationship and put the focus on the children. From self-care techniques to communication tips and tricks to parenting issues, the families who have worked with Karen have all found better ways of handling life after divorce.
