Becoming Areeya Metaya, the Civilisation of Love
"Areeya Metaya" is a psychological and philosophical science novel that talks about spirituality and logically explains the different theories of cosmology. For thousands of years, religion and science have taken conflicting approaches and concepts on discussions relating to physical aspects such as the birth of all things, the origin of human beings and animals, the cosmos and the universe, or about energy, for example, the existence of spirits and ghosts, heaven and hell, angels and gods, and so on. The latter concepts are especially considered absurd in the eyes of many scientists. What you are about to read in this book is an attempt to integrate all this knowledge into one concept. It is a confluence of science and religion, the physical and the spiritual. You will learn about the secret mechanisms that created the earth, the cosmos, and the universe, and most importantly, how the system moves and exists. Areeya Metaya, The Journey to Meeting God is written by Thatree Pokavanich, a graduate of Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Arts majoring in Painting. His initial goal was to be a recognised artist but since his love of drawing small animals and nature was too niche to be widely sold, he channeled his creative energy into being a full-time graphics designer. He loves a good story and can be spellbound by every movie he watches, even if it has been viewed more than once.

Never in my life have I ever considered writing a book but a strange inner voice in my head kept on telling me many times to write this story. And many times, I have queried "why me?" I have wrestled with that voice for quite a long time since I was convinced that I have little writing skills if any at all. But that voice continued to persuade that I put pen to paper because the story would be published in dozens of languages so that others across the world, upon reading it, would feel inspired and find answers to their lives.Haha ha, I just laughed at that inner voice, and at the thought planted in my head which seemed very amusing. However, after much pestering, I finally yielded to the call. So here it is: a novel that I'm sure was driven by an unknown force that is looking out for humankind.

Thatree Pokavanich, 51, graduated in 1991 from... Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Arts majoring in Painting. "Areeya Metaya:Becoming Areeya Metaya, the Civilisation of Love" is Thatree's first novel. He believed he was 'celestially inspired' to write a story that humankind ought to look inward at themselves and strive to ascend their state of sub-consciousness with the objective of achieving the highest form of love for each other. This book, like many of his faithful consultations held prior to working on his creative drawings, is the outcome of trusting the inner voice. It took him about four months to pen and complete the Thai-language novel. Without any prior research done, the storyline was relayed to him by his inner voice, and the words simply flowed naturally to him during the 'magic time' between three to six in the morning. A total of 10,000 copies in Thai have been published to-date. The book has also inspired his readers and like-minded community to listen and follow their inner voice and initiate a movement for a better society, in and outside Thailand.
