Overview

Natural hair care starts with ones roots of who they are and where they came from. The truth lies underneath the relaxer, underneath the weaves, curls and extensions. The natural journey starts with the soul and what it is saying about ones true self. The soul is a spiritual reminder of how we are not the hair on our heads or skin on our bodies, or any other product which media states otherwise. A Natural Hair Journey, Stories and Memories of a Curly Girl by Jenice Armstead gives the personal outlook into the natural journey of a woman who had no idea what she was going to find when her natural journey started, but found the true essence of herself. It is a book full of fun and comedy with personal stories, fun facts, natural hair care advice and more. It is to help the reader understand the general idea behind Going Natural and how Jenice Armstead went natural. This book also includes a journal for the reader to write down and keep track of their own personal natural journey. It also includes helpful hair notes and insights all throughout the book. This will be sure to be your personal guide to your own personal natural hair journey toward becoming naturally you.
