About the Author

Barb Reimer began writing as cathartic work to move thoughts, worries, and ideas to paper and out of her head. When cobbled together some of them became stories about relationships between women of all ages. She honed her craft with organizations like the Alexander Writer's Center at www.alexandrawriters.org and The BestSeller Academy at www.Bestsellerexperiment.com. Both provided learning and support. She is grateful to them for their impact on her skills and the way she thinks about writing. All of this, the encouragement from friends, and a pile of drafts led to A Mother's Gift, Barb's first novel. She is working on another story about women and their relationships with each other. A Mother's Treasure will be published in early 2023. These woman also come from Beckerville, the setting for A Mothers' Gift. Seems the town of Beckerville has more than one set of female relationships that have a story behind them.
